Dr. Zilvinskis studies disability in higher education and high-impact practices using survey data. He teaches research methods, contemporary issues, and the program capstone. Dr. Zilvinskis' research has been published in Research in Higher Education, The Review of Higher Education, the Journal of College Student Development and the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education.
Dr. Zilvinskis is currently a research affiliate with the Center for Community College Student Engagement, The University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability and Experiential Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. At Binghamton University, Dr. Zilvinskis serves as a research affiliate for the Institute for Justice and Well-Being and a doctoral faculty fellow for the College of Community and Public Affairs.
